- Russ Wetmore, the author of Kolor and one of the MacApp engineers before he
- left Apple to work on MicroTV for Apps, once said to me that most people speak
- in reverencial tones when discussing the colors they use for their custom
- desktop -- sort of like they were discussing their own version of the Mona
- Lisa-- even when these custom desktops were considered garish by the majority
- of other people. To me, your desktop sounds kind of weird. Now my black menu
- bar, with light orange titles and orange menus and light pink elevators on the
- scroll bars, on the other hand, ...

- If we are taking votes as to what should go into MacApp 2.1, color desktop
- control would be nice, but it is WAY down on the list for me. I would much
- rather see many of the experimental and untested features of 2.0 firmed up and
- stabilized, AppleEvent support, other System 7 features, a more full featured
- UTEView, etc.
